Grey Celine d’Orsay’s
I’m starting to believe that all good things really do happen unexpectedly. By good things I mean finding these grey suede Celine d’orsay pumps in my size on sale for less than half the price. Yeah, I know, I had a hard time believing it myself that I left the store empty handed and returned a second time 2 hours later, shoe in tow. I had not too long ago set my sights on a yellow pair which thanks to my hesitation sold out by the time I went back to the store, a different store that is. And what better than a grey pair?! See, sometimes waiting can result in something better, so I’ve come to learn on many occasions. Stay tuned to see how I’ll style them….

Mid-Week Pick Me Up!
It’s no question or wonder that when I need to indulge and feel as if I’m in the streets of Milan, Paris, or NY during fashion month, I seek out Tommy Ton. He captures the most vivid moments and just has the ‘eye’ to see what it is we all want to see. These are a few of my favorites from 2014, and by few I mean over the next weeks I’ll post a couple at a time just for a little mid-week pick ‘you’ up! MONDAY BLUES

Mondays don’t always have to be so bad. I take Mondays like a clean slate, a start to a fresh new week. Anything can be written; all the space is there and it’s all yours to make the most of it. The only type of “Monday Blues” I’ll allow myself to have are the ones that come in the form of sheer, beaded cardigans, like this one I found recently in H&M for half price! I contemplated as I always do when it’s an unexpected find, as I consider myself to be more of a strategic shopper. I look for specific things I list beforehand and tend to stick to that list. But, and yes there’s always an exception, when you stumble upon a great find like this one…it’s hard to say no. So I didn’t. And here I am writing. Here’s to having the same type of “Monday Blues” as mine!
