New Shoes Cure the Blues

New shoes cure the blues….My motto whenever I’m feeling down (which is hardly ever but it’s better to have them there in case I do). Hence, my most recent purchase.

Gucci Princetown Mules: the perfect twist on their classic and extremely comfortable loafers. Yes the pricetag was above what I would have wanted it to be but then I thought, “Buy the shoes, no use being the richest bitch in the cemetery…” I swear though, that the cost per wear will be so low given I can’t seem to take them off. Don’t know what that is? Read here http://www.gq.com/story/cost-per-wear-magic

Of course I couldn’t just buy black, besides they were on back order until November. So, I chose my next favourite colour. I mean, Life is too short to wear boring shoes… Yes I get stares but people will stare regardless so give them a reason to.

The motto of the tale is – You can’t buy happiness but you can buy shoes and that’s the same thing…

P.s. Quotes were taken from google…C’mon I’m that clever but people have been swooning over shoes long before I was born.

Stay Tuned

TBT2

After recently sitting down to watch The Director: An Evolution in Three Acts, I was left feeling ‘some kinda way’ in a good way that is. So, in honor of throwback thursdays, I decided to give you guys a dose of fashion nostalgia and take u back to 2013 with glimpses of Gucci’s S/S runway show. Here goes…

Olsens X3

The only thing more eye pleasing on a red carpet than two Olsens is three. Always chic as ever, they gave us one more photo to add to our ‘Olsen Twins’ fashion album on our computers. If you currently don’t have one, you should def get on that. Decked out in all black, head-to-toe The Row ensembles, the live up to their names and in true CFDA Awards Red Carpet Style. Are they currently interviewing for another sister??

Good On Ya👏🏻

We swoon over magazine editorial spreads but a select few actually give credit to the creative geniuses giving the models/celebs that appeal that make them so ‘Fab’. Two words: Christine Centenera. She can do no wrong; and her personal style is a testament to that statement. As fashion editor of Australian Vogue, she was THE ‘creative genius’ behind yet another hit editorial starring Kim Kardashian for the June 2016 issue. See for yourself…

Chic Simplicity – A mix of tees, sweaters, underwear and custom corsettes…multiple. The mix of complex and minimalistic pieces combined so well is what makes this Ace!

Luma Brush

So I am one of those people who will not publicly appear without a full blowdry. Ok, I exaggerate…it depends where I’ll appear🙄 But my mood literally depends on how my hair looks. I’m not a fan of a flat iron, I don’t even own one, but a blow dryer is a necessity! Since I not too long ago decided to go blonde and intend to go a bit lighter pretty soon, I’m very careful with applying heat. I saw these straightening brushes and was skeptical. I decided to try Luma Brush because it was recommended by a friend I could trust. Now I can tell you but I obviously preferred to show you (in my amateur video above). And you can see how easy it is by my use of only one hand!
