Bing.com defines a ‘Suit’ as a set of outer clothes made of the same fabric and designed to be worn together, typically consisting of a jacket and trousers or a jacket and skirt. Now we have all come to realize that this is not necesssarily 100% accurate, at least not in todays world of fashion and style. Synonymous with the term ‘outfit’, it is just that! An Outfit. Although wearing a suit does consist of wearing a jacket with a pants or a skirt, the idea of pants ranges from culottes to shorts to wide leg pants to seemingly tailored trousers and the same goes for skirts. The options are almost limitless. Rarely are the fabrics of both the same, unless one seeks to look ‘put-together’. More often we seek to be daring and not only  mix fabric but patterns as well, even colors. What I’m trying to say is that when it comes to dressing up there are no rules, no definitions; we dress according to our own fashion intuition or at least we should. Heck, am I not glad to be a woman and have so many options?! Sometimes, too many…

Stay Tuned,

XOXO
