I know it’s neither throwback Thursday or flashback Friday but any day is appropriate for my ode to an OG fashionista like Courtney Trop of “Always Judging”. Personally, I’m a bigger fan of her circa 2014, more or less when these pics were taken. Everyone has the right to evolve, though, so kudos to her for being true to her stylish self. Once a fan, always a fan!
After recently sitting down to watch The Director: An Evolution in Three Acts, I was left feeling ‘some kinda way’ in a good way that is. So, in honor of throwback thursdays, I decided to give you guys a dose of fashion nostalgia and take u back to 2013 with glimpses of Gucci’s S/S runway show. Here goes…
The only thing more eye pleasing on a red carpet than two Olsens is three. Always chic as ever, they gave us one more photo to add to our ‘Olsen Twins’ fashion album on our computers. If you currently don’t have one, you should def get on that. Decked out in all black, head-to-toe The Row ensembles, the live up to their names and in true CFDA Awards Red Carpet Style. Are they currently interviewing for another sister??
We swoon over magazine editorial spreads but a select few actually give credit to the creative geniuses giving the models/celebs that appeal that make them so ‘Fab’. Two words: Christine Centenera. She can do no wrong; and her personal style is a testament to that statement. As fashion editor of Australian Vogue, she was THE ‘creative genius’ behind yet another hit editorial starring Kim Kardashian for the June 2016 issue. See for yourself…
Zara’s new Spring / Summer Women’s Campaign got me like…with my card information on hold. Everything! Hasn’t been my go to color for some time yet it has been for quite some time, more than two decades to be precise. It started when I was about 5 and obsessed with The Wizard of Oz and refused to take my red shoes off. Oh! and then a few years back there was an obsession with my red blazer thanks to Mischa Barton, when she was reigning in the streetstyle dept. Then there was the red faux leather quilted trousers and Givenchy-esque red suede sandals both c/o of Zara…Now lately no color seems to be my go to color but this Elle spread of Bella in all things red may just inspire me otherwise. From the ballerina shoes to the lace tights, chanel bag, leather jacket, and I can go on, but I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. I’m feeling another red obsession coming on….
